Mark Cuban is the billionaire owner of the Dallas Mavericks, a host on the hit TV show 'Shark Tank', and a well known technology investor and entrepreneur. Cuban got his start building technology businesses in the 1980s, scaling his first major business MicroSolutions to $30 million in annual revenue before selling it to H&R Block for $6 million.
Mark Cuban then helped build Broadcast.com, a webcasting service that Yahoo purchased for $5.7 billion in 1999. Shortly after the sale, in January 2000, Mark purchased a majority stake in the NBA's Dallas Mavericks which he still owns to this day.
