One of Kanye West's favorite books.
The daring constructions of the award-winning Italian architect Claudio Silvestrin (Jg. 1954) are modern, innovative and often daring, but they never act unifying or even monotonic. The creative process is the most perfect building still clearly traceable, behind a superficial simplicity hides a complex and deeply humane concept. Understatement instead of pomp - this also like his prominent builders such as George Armani or Kanye West.
The book is convincing in content and presentation. It offers rich and high-quality illustrated, a multi-faceted overview of the completed buildings and also presents projects in the planning stage. The unusual conception of space and its grandiose coupled enclosure at Silvestrin can not be adequately conveyed in book form. Its special, very close bond with the earth and nature can be seen in each of its architecture - even if it is one flagship store, a hotel, a cafe or a museum.
